Rodenbach Brewery

Famous around the world for its tangy red-brown beer, Rodenbach Brewery launched a brand-new visitor experience in October 2024, featuring an interactive tour.

Visiting Rodenbach Brewery

Your visit starts with an engaging introductory film in Het Foederhuis. Afterwards, a seasoned guide will take you through the authentic brewery buildings. You’ll visit the kiln house, admire the impressive oak barrel halls and experience a captivating sound and light show inside a giant cask (‘foeder’).

Visits are possible in Dutch, English and French.

Choose your tour

You can visit Rodenbach Brewery all year round. Individual guided tours are available from Wednesday to Sunday at 2 PM.

You can choose from three different options:

  1. Classic Tour
Includes a tasting of one Rodenbach beer (25 cl)
  2. Grand Cru Tour
Includes a tasting board with four Rodenbach beers (15 cl)
  3. Vintage Tour
Includes the workshop ‘Blend Your Own Rodenbach’
Thanks to a smart tap system on the Rodenbach casks, you can experiment and create your own blend. Discover the unique art of mixed fermentation, the process that makes Rodenbach stand out. After the workshop, you’ll receive a group photo printed on your personalised Rodenbach bottle. End the experience with a tasting of one Rodenbach beer of your choice in Het Foederhuis.

Due to the many stairs, the tour of the historical buildings is currently not accessible to wheelchair users. However, work is underway to change that in the near future.

Het Foederhuis

Within the brewery, you’ll find Het Foederhuis, a unique café where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a (red-brown) beer in the shade of iconic oak casks, called ‘foeders’. In case of good weather, the terrace in the historic courtyard is the perfect spot. Beer lovers and foodies will feel right at home: the flavourful dishes are a perfect match for Rodenbach’s award-winning beers.

Het Foederhuis is the ideal start or end point of your brewery visit – but you’re just as welcome to stop by for the atmosphere alone.
