The name ‘Sterrebos’ (‘Star Forest’) refers to the layout: all paths radiate from a central point, forming a star. At the heart of the star lies a stone – perfect for taking in all the diverging paths around you.
For knights and princesses
Sterrebos is home to the beautiful Rumbeke Castle. Opposite the castle, an impressive plane tree stands tall at over 200 years old, providing generous shade in summer.
Looking for a magical play area? Across from the castle and the plane tree, kids will love the medieval-style playground – with a big dragon to climb, a moving horse cart, and even a castle of their own.
